Applications

UK not for profit organisations are invited to apply for grants which support local, grassroots community-based health and education programmes that help youth reach their full potential. We are working with the London Community Foundation to help us administer the funds.
We put community funding in the hands of local leaders to support programs that best meet our vision and clearly demonstrate the following criteria:
  • Organisation is a not for profit organisation operating in Greater London
  • Project or programme for funding request has a stated focus on supporting youth  youth up to age 29 in the Greater London area experiencing obstacles to reaching their full potential
  • Single year grant funding, up to £20,000
  • Maximum of one application per calendar year
  • Focus on health or education
  • Preference is given to programmes that best demonstrate how using technology can increase the effectiveness of their programme to make positive impacts on communities
  • Community-based programmes of religious organisations must be able to demonstrate a history of non-denominational participation by the broader community
  • If funded, the organisation agrees to publicly announce the award (eg: social media or media release)

Who can apply

  • Organisations that have not received funding from the TELUS Greater London Community Board within the last 12 months
  • UK not for profit organizations

  • Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)
  • Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) - may also be registered as a Charity or a Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee (CICLG)

  • Have a safeguarding policy in place that has been reviewed in the last 12 months and meets the requirements as listed in our
    safeguarding checklist
. Additionally, you must submit a safeguarding policy that has been reviewed within the last year and is reviewed annually (this needs to be in writing on the safeguarding policy). If your safeguarding policy has not been reviewed annually, please provide a rationale for this and outline when it will be next reviewed).
