How do you navigate?


By using the navigation arrows on one of the two remote controls or the app keyboard, you can search for and select your favourite programs by category or by using the search feature to enter the title, the date or the names of actors or characters.

The play, pause, fast-forward, rewind and skip features can be accessed with one of the two remote controls, even while watching the main program.

Why are the fast-forward, rewind and skip functions not working?


These features are only available when watching the main program. They cannot be activated during commercials.

Is a TELUS OPTIK Internet connection required to access TELUS OPTIK TV?


Yes, a TELUS OPTIK Internet connection is required to have access to the application. If you haven't subscribed to the TELUS Internet service, please call 310-1212 to do so.

Why a high-speed Internet connection is required:


For technical reasons, you need to have a TELUS High-Speed Internet subscription, i.e. a package offering at least 6 Mbps, to enjoy the best viewing quality.

It’s related to the way the application delivers content. ICI TOU.TV is delivered to your home through the web in the form of video streaming and therefore involves bandwidth consumption.

How much does it cost to use ICI TOU.TV on my TV?


The ICI TOU.TV application is free for all OPTIK TV Digital Basic package subscribers with a TELUS Internet connection and is an addition to our service offering. But overage charges may be applicable if you exceed the download limit.

What kind of image resolution can I expect?


You can enjoy the same quality as what other platforms provide to view the same content. In other words, it's comparable to other content available on OPTIK TV, depending on your connection speed.

How can I access the application?


You can get the application from the app store on OPTIK TV by pressing the “apps” or “interactive” button on your remote control.

I can’t play an ICI TOU.TV video on my PVR, so what do I do?


For technical reasons, your PVR is configured and limited to managing your TV experience in your entire home. When all the signals are being used either to watch or record live channels, you can only watch ICI TOU.TV content on an ordinary decoder.

I’m not able to activate the application. I always get an “Oops! An error has occurred. Try again later.” message. What should I do?


Log in to your ICI TOU.TV account on the web and delete all your favourites. Then start a video and add another program to your favourites. Once this is done, press the “Back/Exit” button on your remote control to close the application and return to live television. Finally, restart the decoder, activate the application again and log in to your Radio-Canada account.

You can configure the auxiliary audio by pressing on Menu/Settings/Audio/Auxiliary Audio. The message will stop appearing.

Yes, you have direct access to regular ICI TOU.TV content on your TV. On the other hand, in order to access EXTRA content and enjoy better image quality and certain functionalities, you will have to log in with your Radio-Canada account.
