## Set up TELUS email You will need your email address and password you use to login directly to TELUS email. 1. Tap **Settings** > **Accounts & passwords** > **Add account** 2. Tap **Add mail Account** 4. Enter your name, email address, password and a description for your account 5. Tap **Next**. Mail will try to find the email settings and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your email settings, tap **Done** to complete your account setup If Mail can't find your email settings, you need to enter them manually. After you enter your email address and password, tap **Next** , then follow these steps: 1. Choose IMAP for your new account 2. Enter the following information:

__Incoming server email__
__Host name__	imap.telus.net
__Username__	username@telus.net
__Password__	Your TELUS email password

__Outgoing Mail Server__
__Host name__	smtp.telus.net
__Username__	username@telus.net
__Password__	Your TELUS email password

If your email settings are correct, tap **Save** to finish. You may also [**contact us**](https://www.telus.com/en/business/contact-telus) and one of our agents can help you reset your password. ## Travelling internationally In order to ensure your emails will work while you are travelling internationally, check your incoming and outgoing mail server settings: 1. Go to **Settings** > **Mail** > **Accounts** 2. Select your TELUS account 3. Tap **Account** 4. Under **Advanced** , scroll to the bottom 5. Ensure Incoming Settings are as follows:

__Use SSL__	On
__Authentication__	Password
__IMAP Path Prefix__	/
__Server Port__	993

6. Press __Account__ to go back 7. Tap **SMTP** to confirm outgoing mail server settings 8. Under Primary server, tap **smtp.telus.net** 9. Ensure the following is set correctly:

__Server__	On
__Host name__	smtp.telus.net
__Username__	Your email address
__Password__	Your password
__Use SSL__	On
__Authentication__	Password
__Server port__	1025

10. Tap **Save** if you made any changes to these settings These settings will also work in Canada, so you do not need to change anything once you are back. **Note**: Some countries may block these settings. If they are not working in the country you are in, you will have to use [**email.telus.net**](http://email.telus.net) from any device.
