Motivated by his drive for excellence, Phil proudly leads the team responsible for facilitating and developing TELUS Health’s strategic vision, and fulfilling that vision through comprehensive program management and investments to improve health outcomes, drive TELUS’ momentum and team engagement.
During his 18 year tenure at TELUS, Phil has led a number of strategy teams across the organization, most recently leading the Consumer Customer Experience (CE) team as a Vice-president for 9 years. During his time with CE, Phil helped his team earn industry-leading customer experience scores as defined by JD Power, best-in-class churn, reduced customer effort and transformational digital experiences.
Phil continually challenges the status quo and exemplifies a passion for enabling a collaborative and innovative team culture. His industry knowledge and outstanding leadership have provided essential stability and business continuity through significant challenges faced by his teams.
Prior to TELUS, Phil worked at AT Kearney, Qwest Communications and Nortel Networks. Phil graduated with an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University. Phil is a member of the TELUS Barrie & Simcoe County Community Board where he helps deliver funding to support grassroots projects, charities and organizations across Barrie and Simcoe County.
