Easy Roam will always appear on your monthly bill under
Add-ons
as a free service. It is free to have on your account and the charges only activate when you travel and use your mobile device.
When Easy Roam is activated in an eligible destination, the total daily charges will appear under the
Usage charges
section of your monthly bill:
The
US
per day fee will appear as
Easy Roam US
with the total number of days that Easy Roam was used and the total amount of daily charges
The
International
per day fee will appear as
Easy Roam INTL
with the total number of days that Easy Roam was used and the total amount of daily charges
The total Easy Roam charges on your bill may be less than the number of days used multiplied by the daily fee amount (e.g., $12 or $15). This will only happen if you reach the bill cycle cap on Easy Roam charges of $240 (US) or $300 (International).
Visit the
Easy Roam FAQ page
for more information about the monthly bill cap on Easy Roam charges.
The record of each daily Easy Roam charge also appears in the
Airtime details
section of your bill. The date and time that each daily Easy Roam fee was activated will appear in your list of call history as
99999 ROAM/VOY
along with the amount of the daily Easy Roam charge (e.g., $12 or $15).
If you called destinations outside Canada or the country in which you were located when the call was made, then the pay-per-use charges for these calls will appear as additional roaming airtime charges as their own line item that is separate from the Easy Roam charges. This also applies if you called any other phone numbers that are not included in Easy Roam.
