How to reset the Arris NVG443B modem to factory settings
Description
The Arris NVG443B is a versatile xDSL and GPON Voice Gateway up to 1Gbps with 802.11ac Wi-Fi for Business customers.
The NVG443B is compatible with both copper and fibre installs and supports a good set of features including Static IP Subnet and legacy DHCP static IP.

How to reset the Arris NVG443B to factory settings
Factory resetting your modem will put all the settings back to default configuration. You should only do this if you are instructed to do so by one of our agents or one of our support articles.
To reset your
NVG443B modem
to its original factory settings:
Using a thin object (ex. a needle, paper clip, toothpick), press and hold the recessed
Reset Switch button
for 10 or more seconds until the Power light starts flashing red
Release the reset button
Your TELUS modem will restart automatically
Please allow up to 10 minutes for the process to complete
Note
: Restarting or resetting your modem may only provide a temporary fix to your problem, if you find the issue reoccurs
