Recycle your mobile device

If your mobile device is not eligible for the TELUS Trade-In Program, TELUS can recycle it for you.

When you bring your old cell phone, tablet or battery to TELUS, we ensure that they are recycled responsibly. Hazardous materials are treated to prevent them from contaminating soil and ground water. Other materials are recycled to keep them out of landfill.

Bring any mobile device or battery — regardless of the brand — to your local TELUS store for recycling, and TELUS will plant a tree. Use our
Store Locator
to find a TELUS location near you. There is no charge for this service.

Before your device can be accepted for recycling, it must be deactivated. Remember to delete all your personal data, and remove the SIM card if it has one. For information on how to clear your device, read
Before you trade or recycle
.

Note that once you have turned your cell phone, tablet or battery over to TELUS, it cannot be reclaimed.
