As admin or user, you can decide which phone number will be displayed as Caller ID for outgoing calls.
If you are a Business Connect user
From Voice Manager, select
Settings
>
Outbound Calls/Faxes > Caller ID
Select
Edit
on the devices and locations for which you want to change the displayed number
Select
Save
If you are a Business Connect admin
From Voice Manager, select
Users
Select the user's extension
Select
Outbound Calls/Faxes > Caller ID
Select
Edit
on the devices and locations for which you want to change the displayed number
Select
Save
Caller ID Name
When selected, this option will display the extension name and not the main company's display name.
Note:
The Caller ID name feature is unavailable for both the extension and the main company number when using the toll-free option as the outgoing Caller ID.
