Unified Desktop App (September 25th)

The following updates have been made to the Unified desktop App to simplify administration and improve the user experience.
Manage voicemails, texts, faxes and a customized phone tab in a unified inbox.
Improved compact app layout includes a pop out dial pad in a separate window to make calls.
Grant any team admin the ability to duplicate a team and create a new team with the same members.
Apply a dropdown filter to view/search for different conversations in the left rail.
Allow users to turn on/off message previews.
Multi-task by detaching the message tab into a new window.
Condense the list item height to view more content at once.
View or remove conference participants in an ad-hoc audio conference call without ending the call for everyone.
Banner and blocking mechanisms remind users and admins that they need to update the latest desktop app.
Allow users to reset the app and collect logs for support when the web app cannot be accessed.
Pair the Business Connect app with a deskphone to combine the high-quality audio of a physical device with the app’s rich collaboration features (desk phone pairing (DPP).
Simplify viewing, sorting, and handling conversations with an improved, clearer layout of the message tab.
Customize moving muted conversations to the top when sorting from most recent messages.
New configuration settings allow users to turn off the bold text in conversation lists.
Help us to control spam by reporting spam calls with spam call blocking.
Unified Mobile App (September 25th)

The following updates have been made to provide a more user-friendly experience:
Use the navigation bar to configure the mobile app to have more tabs or slide up and down to reveal more tabs.
Remove some non-professional ringtones.
Share notes from one conversation to another.
Use Apple CarPlay support to place a call using voice command, view and accept/reject incoming calls on display and send/reply to messages using voice command.
Admin & Core / Voice Manager

Access the corrected links to training materials and tutorials via VoiceManager.
Customers now have the ability to set up U.S. SMS using The Campaign Registry. (TCR). U.S. regulations mandate registration of a brand and campaign for any business to send text messages to the U.S. BCX and concierge will be able to set up the account to give the customer access to register their brand and campaign. Improve your call queue experience with Phase 2 of the Call Queue Settings Template, offering improved features (i.e. audit trails) and comprehensive user support.
Create multiple call queues by using a template file, similar to the "Add Users in Bulk" feature, for streamlined management.
Streamline control with the Admin Setting for Auto-Answer at the account level, enabling convenient activation or deactivation in Service Web.
Simplify message management with a user-friendly layout and User-Level Admin Setting for Auto-Answer with enhanced control in Voice Manager.
Merged IVR Model simplifies call setup and provides consistent routing options for single- and multi-site accounts.

Use the MS Teams Embedded Dialer 2.0, a next-gen app experience featuring a new UI, for voice calling via desktop plugin (eliminating the need for the Desktop App) and comprehensive call-related functionalities.

Use the breakout room interface with a visible auto-close timer to monitor remaining minutes before room closure, receive countdown notifications and conclude discussions effectively.
