TELUS Business Antivirus Service Terms

The terms in this section apply to the Business Antivirus services

The terms in this section, called the “service terms”, apply to a group of services or a specific service within a group. The terms in this section apply to the Business Antivirus services (“
TELUS Business Antivirus
”) that, when subscribed for, forms part of HSIA Services. TELUS DNS Security is an “add-on” to the HSIA Services and cannot be subscribed for separately from HSIA Services.

1.1 General Description

TELUS Business Antivirus is a complete antivirus package to protect your organization’s, and your employees’ devices from daily cyber threats such as viruses, Trojans and Malware. The service offers a simple cloud based setup and device management and protects data across devices — desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones and gives 24x7 support for you and your employees. TELUS Business Antivirus is cloud delivered using vendor software platform (“Norton Lifelock”).

1.3 Enrollment And Activation

Enrollment

We will enroll you for the TELUS Business Antivirus with Norton and provide you with an activation instruction and PIN via email.

Activation

Your service will be activated once you create your account on the Norton Lifelock portal with the PIN provided in your enrollment email.

1.4 Your Responsibilities

Use

By subscribing to the TELUS Business Antivirus, you agree to comply with the requirements, policies and other terms set forth in the NortonLifelock License and Services Agreement at

Configuration

You are responsible to complete the activation of the services on the NortonLifelock portal with the provided enrollment PIN as well as all the device assignments for the total number of licenses purchased. Licenses can be removed and reassigned anytime by accessing the same portal.

Security

You are responsible for any additional security measures to safeguard your network from cybersecurity threats and use your network in a responsible and secure manner.

Support

TELUS Services Help Desk will provide 24 hour, 7 days per week assistance on a reasonable effort basis

1.5 Service Cancellation

Cancellation Charge

When your HSIA Services is cancelled or when you cancel TELUS Business Antivirus, we calculate the service cancellation charge using the table below. The service cancellation charge is the aggregate of the percentage of the total monthly fixed charges for TELUS Business Antivirus remaining for service period after cancellation.
