Assign phone numbers to an extension or company

A local phone number comes with every user assigned to your account. You can move these numbers around to suit your preference. Note that you must have admin privileges in order to access these settings.

  1. Select
    Phone System
    >
    Phone Numbers
    >
    All Numbers

  2. Select the number you wish to assign

  3. Select either
    Auto Receptionist
    or
    Extension

    • Auto Receptionist
      will assign the number as a
      main company number
      > continue to Step 5

    • Extension
      will assign the number to a
      user
      ,
      group
      or
      IVR Menu
      > continue to Step 6

  4. If you selected
    Auto Receptionist
    > select
    Save

  5. If you selected
    Extension
    > select
    Select Extension
    > select
    extension to assign
    > select
    Done
    > select
    Save
