What is Dark Web Monitoring?

TELUS Online Security Basic customers are entitled to Dark Web Monitoring for 1 person. It continuously monitors hard to find anonymous websites and forums (“the dark web”) for use of your personal information, including email and passwords, and sends you alerts to notify you of steps to take to protect your information.

What do I do if I receive an alert?

After you have finish inputting your personal information (such as your bank account or credit card numbers), the Dark Web Monitoring product will scan, monitor and send you an email alert if your personal information has been detected on the dark web.

Alternatively, you can log into your My Norton account, and select the Dark Web Monitoring tile to read your alert and corrective actions.
