How to update your pre-authorized payment information
Add pre-authorized payments online
Once you’ve set up pre-authorized payments, you’ll never have to worry about paying your bill on time. You can make your payments by credit card, Visa Debit, or through your checking account.
Log in to My TELUS
Select Billing
Choose the account for which you want pre-authorized payments to be set up or updated
From the right-hand side of the page under Balance, select Set up pre-authorized payments
Select a payment method (chequing account or credit card), fill out the required fields and Submit
Credit card only
Call 1-800-777-1888 or (Mobility Services) or 1-888-811-2500 (Internet or Fixed Line Services) or
Dial #227 from your TELUS phone
Press 1 for English
Press 5 to add the new credit card
Updating or changing existing pre-authorized payments
Log in to My TELUS
Select Billing
Choose the account for which you want pre-authorized payments to be set up or updated
From the right-hand side of the page under Balance select Manage pre-authorized payments
To update or change:
To pre-authorized chequing account, select Switch to chequing account
Credit card on file, select Update credit card
Enter the required information and click on Confirm
Your updated pre-authorized payment information has now been added to your account.
Note: It may take up to one full billing cycle for pre-authorized payments to take effect. If you have an outstanding balance on your account, it is recommended that you make a one-time credit card payment to avoid late charges.
In order to make changes to the information used for your pre-authorized payments from your chequing account, you must print and mail in the Client authorization for automatic account withdrawals form
Mail the completed, signed form along with a void cheque to:
