Set up TELUS email on your computer using Windows 10 Email
Access your telus.net email account through Window 10 Email
Not your email client?
- Open Mail
- Select Settings
- Select Manage Accounts
- Select Add account
- Choose Other account
- Enter the following information:
- Email address: Your TELUS.net email address
- Password: Your TELUS.net password
Note: If you’ve forgotten your telus.net email password, you can reset it by following the recovery steps. If you did not set up a recovery email, please contact us at 1-888-811-2323 and one of our agents will be happy to assist you
- Click Sign in
- If you try three times and it fails to add the account, select Advanced
- Fill out the following information:
- Account name: TELUS
- Your name: This is what others will see when you email them
- Incoming mail server: imap.telus.net
- Account type: IMAP
- Port: 993
- Email address: Your TELUS.net email address
- User name: Your TELUS.net username, generally your email address will work
- Password: Your TELUS.net password
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server: smtp.telus.net
- Port: 465
- Check " outgoing server requires authentication "
- Check " Use the same username and password for sending email "
- Uncheck SSL for incoming and outgoing email
- Click Sign In
- You should see an " All done! " message
