Reset your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Forgot your account PIN? No worries! You can reset it on My TELUS anytime.
Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) were implemented as a security measure and provide an easy way to verify customer identity when calling the Contact Centre.
Important: PIN can only be reset ONLINE by account administrators.
Log in to My TELUS
Select the My Profile tab from the menu
If you have multiple accounts with TELUS, select the desired account
Select Forgot your PIN?
From a list of emails and phone numbers tied to your account, select how you wish to receive a 6-digit verification code
If selecting a phone number, you can choose between Text and Call
Enter the 6-digit verification code, then select Submit
Select a new PIN
Please do not select a weak PIN. Repetitive PINs (such as 000) or sequential PINs (such as 1234) are not acceptable
Other examples of weak PINs: Last 4 digits of your phone number, date of birth, etc
Enter the new PIN again to confirm
Select Reset PIN
A confirmation page will display
