Reset your Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Forgot your account PIN? No worries! You can reset it on My TELUS anytime.

Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) were implemented as a security measure and provide an easy way to verify customer identity when calling the Contact Centre.

Important: PIN can only be reset ONLINE by account administrators.

  1. Log in to My TELUS

  2. Select the My Profile tab from the menu

    • If you have multiple accounts with TELUS, select the desired account

  3. Select Forgot your PIN?

  4. From a list of emails and phone numbers tied to your account, select how you wish to receive a 6-digit verification code

    • If selecting a phone number, you can choose between Text and Call

  5. Enter the 6-digit verification code, then select Submit

  6. Select a new PIN 

    • Please do not select a weak PIN. Repetitive PINs (such as 000) or sequential PINs (such as 1234) are not acceptable

    • Other examples of weak PINs: Last 4 digits of your phone number, date of birth, etc

  7. Enter the new PIN again to confirm

  8. Select Reset PIN

  9. A confirmation page will display
