Business Connect Faxing
Send faxes with your Business Connect account via VoiceManager, email or the Desktop & Mobile Apps (depending on your plan).
Log in to the Voice Manager
Select the Fax Out icon
In the pop up window, enter the recipient’s fax number and:
Select Enable cover page if required
Select Attach file, then select the document
Select Schedule to send at a later date
Select Send Now
NOTE: Cover pages are designed by default and cannot be customized via Voice Manager. See the following Desktop App section to use a custom cover page.
To send a fax via email, you must first authorize the sending address through the fax preference settings:
Log in to the Voice Manager
Navigate to the fax preference settings
As Admin: Select Users > Ext (extension phone) you wish to edit > Outbound calls/Faxes > Fax Settings
As User: Select Settings > Outbound calls/Faxes > Fax Settings
Under Faxes Sent via Email, enter the email address
Create your fax and attach any files as you would with a regular email
Send the fax via faxnumber@fax.telus.com
NOTE: An email address can only be registered on one extension and account at a time.
iPhone Mobile App
Select the profile circle > Fax > + > Enter the recipient’s fax number > Add attachment > Send
Android Mobile App
Select Settings > Fax > Select the fax icon > Enter the recipient’s number > Add attachment > Send
Desktop App (Web Version)
Select + > Send New Fax > Enter the recipient’s fax number > Select a cover page > Add attachment > Send Now
Desktop App (Downloadable Version)
Select the Compose Fax icon > enter the recipient’s fax number > Add attachment > Select Send Now or Send Later
To attach your own custom page, use the desktop app (downloadable version):
Select the cover page name > Select + > Enter the title > Upload > Attach
For best results, download the default cover page, edit to your liking, save the file and upload as custom
