Check your Business Connect voicemail by phone

This article will explain how you can check your messages over the phone.

IMPORTANT
: You should know the password of the extension that you are checking. If you forgot your password, you may contact the account administrator to reset the password. To learn how to reset passwords as an administrator, click here.

There are several ways you can check your messages over the phone:

Using a mobile phone or landline

Step 1:

Call your RingCentral main number (Toll-Free or Local Number).

Step 2:

Once connected, enter your extension number.

Step 3:

Once you hear your greeting, press the star key or asterisk (*).

NOTE
: If you do not have a greeting in your extension, press the star key or asterisk after the 2nd ring.

Step 4:

The prompt will ask for your password. Enter your password followed by the pound or number sign (#).

Step 5:

You may listen to the prompt or simply press (1) to listen to your messages. Press (6) to skip a message.

Using an IP phone provisioned by RingCentral (RingCentral-issued or 3rd party)

Step 1:

On your IP phone, dial *86.

Step 2:

Once you hear your greeting, press the star key or asterisk (*).

NOTE
: If you do not have a greeting in your extension, press the star key or asterisk after the 2nd ring.

Step 3:

The prompt will ask for your password. Enter your password followed by the pound or number sign (#).

Step 4:

You may listen to the prompt or simply press (1) to listen to your messages. Press (6) to skip a message.

NOTE
: In case your extension is assigned to a specific number (Additional Number or DigitalLine) aside from your main number, you can already dial that specific number and press the star key or asterisk (*) without dialing your extension number.
