Remove the used lead-acid battery by detaching the white clip. Connect the new lead-acid battery using the same white clip.
Insert a new 12V Lead Acid battery into the panel. Put the excess wires to the side of the battery into the panel. Put the excess wires to the side of the battery.
Re-attach the panel lid.
Turn the panel back on.
Test whether the replacement is successful by arming and disarming the panel. If the panel no longer says "low system battery," the replacement is successful.

Open the cover.

Twist the CO detector clockwise to lock onto the mounting plate.

Remove your sensor and remove the case by twisting a small flat blade screwdriver in the top case slot (on the flat end of the sensor).
Remove the battery retaining screw.
Remove the battery clamp and original batteries from the device.
Replace with two new lithium batteries with the “+” side up.
Replace the battery clamp and retaining screw.
Replace the case back onto the sensor.

Slide out the CR2032 battery and replace with a fresh battery.
Secure the back cover by using the two Phillips screws.
