Add and manage streaming services with My TELUS
Learn how to add Stream+ and activate your streaming services using your My TELUS account.
To manage or activate your services, you'll need a My TELUS account. If you don’t have an account, register for one now.
Log in to My TELUS
Select the Plans & Devices tab
On the Plans & Devices page, select Manage add-ons & services
On the Optional add-ons & services page, select the Services tab
Select Stream+
You can confirm Stream+ is selected if the checkbox is marked
Select the Continue to review button
Review the details, then select Confirm changes
On the confirmation page, select Get started to start activating or linking Stream+ to enjoy the full benefits of this bundle
Note: If you have an existing account for any of the streaming services, you will be able to link the account(s) after you activate the service in My TELUS.
Log in to the My TELUS app
Select the Plans & Devices tab
On the Plans & Devices screen, select Manage add-ons & services
On the Optional add-ons & services screen, select Stream+
On the Video Streaming screen, select Stream+
You can confirm Stream+ is selected if the checkbox is marked
Select Review & confirm to view the details
When ready, select Confirm changes
On the confirmation stage, select Activate Stream+ to activate your streaming services to enjoy the full benefits of this bundle
Note: If you have an existing account for any of the streaming services, you will be able to link the account(s) after you activate the service from My TELUS.
Note: Stream+ services can only be activated on My TELUS web at this time.
Log in to My TELUS
Select the Plans & Devices tab
On the Plans & Devices page, select the Services tab to see your new Stream+ service
Select Activate for Netflix or discovery+
You will be taken to the streaming service’s landing page to activate or link your account
Follow the account setup instructions
Repeat steps 4-6 to activate the other streaming service (if needed)
Once completed, select Start streaming and enjoy the benefits of Stream+
It may take up to 24 hours for the Activate button on the Services tab to change to Start streaming
Note: If you have a Netflix or discovery+ account, you can link your subscription during the account setup.
Log in to My TELUS
Select the Plans & Devices tab
On the Plans & Devices page, select the Services tab to see your new Stream+ service
Select the Activate button for Apple TV+
Review and select I agree to the consent to share your phone number with Apple message to begin activating or linking your account
Note: The phone number you consent to share with Apple must be associated with your Stream+ subscription
Follow the account setup instructions
Once completed, select Start streaming and enjoy the benefits of Stream+
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for the Activate button on the Services tab to change to Start streaming
Here are a few things to know before cancelling:
Cancellation will take effect right away and you’ll lose access to your accounts through Stream+
You’ll no longer save over 20% per month on these streaming services compared to subscribing to them individually
You’ll see a partial charge on your bill from the start of your billing cycle to the day you cancelled
You can cancel Stream+ in My TELUS from either the Services tab OR the Optional add-ons page:
From the Services tab
Log in to My TELUS
Select the Plans & Devices tab
From the the Plans & Devices page, select the Services tab
Scroll to your Stream+ bundle and select Cancel Stream+
A prompt will appear to confirm your cancellation. Select Cancel Stream+ to continue
Review the summary details, then select Confirm changes
From the Optional add-ons page
Log in to My TELUS
Select the Plans & Devices tab
On the Plans & Devices page, select Manage add-ons & services
From the Your add-ons tab, deselect Stream+
You can confirm Stream+ is deselected if the checkbox is empty
On the Optional add-ons & services page, select the Services tab
Select Continue to review
Review the details, then select Confirm changes
