Bringing compassion to our streets with Health for Good
235,000 Canadians experience homelessness each year, often while facing complex mental health and addiction issues. Many cannot easily access traditional medical care, yet urgently need help, especially with the unprecedented opioid crisis fueling an exponential rise in emergency room visits.
Our Health for Good™️program funds TELUS Mobile Health Clinics, powered by TELUS Health technology, that improve the way health practitioners deliver care for the most vulnerable among us, respecting their privacy and dignity while reminding them that they are not alone. Because a friendlier future for all begins with a single act of kindness.

See how Health for Good is helping provide mental health and addiction support in the community
We know that mental health and addiction is a growing concern in our communities. That’s why TELUS Mobile Health Clinics are working with healthcare providers like Thenu, Simon and Matty to reach people who need help.
Where we operate
Together with our local community health partners listed below, we offer an effective model of primary care outreach that is addressing specific needs within each community. In 2020, we plan to expand the program from coast to coast.
“The Van has helped me and a lot of other people in ways you can’t imagine. They were there in case I needed to talk to someone. They are always there. Thank you.”
“The Van saved my life by giving me hope and courage at a time when I needed it most.”
“I like that they talk to us like human beings. They are generous, and give us what we need. They support me all the time.”
Health for Good is bringing compassion to our streets
We believe that every Canadian should have access to healthcare when and where they need it, regardless of their socio-economic status. That’s why we are committing $8 million to expand our TELUS Health for Good program to communities from coast to coast, with a goal of enabling 20K patient interactions per year.
