What Andrea started as a community initiative, now had the ability to grow and affect the lives of many people suffering from mental health disorders. TELUS was the society’s first significant funder, allowing it to expand into several other communities in BC.
Michelle grew up watching her parents give back to others despite having little themselves. Having learned a valuable lesson early on, she now does whatever she can to make a difference in her community.
Like many TELUS team members across the country, Melissa believes in giving where she lives. She saw the effect of homelessness and poverty on many residents in her community and knew she wanted to make a difference.
Participating in the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes – the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) signature fundraising event – is a personal motivation for Michael, a TELUS team member in Burnaby.

We are passionately dedicated to the health of our mothers, wives, sisters, daughters and friends and continue to work diligently to fund innovative research and treatment options to find a cure and improve patient experiences for those undergoing treatment.
