Canada Post work stoppage: Important shipping and billing impacts for TELUS Business customers
Last updated: May 22, 2025
Canada Post will go on strike on May 23, 2025. As of May 12, 2025, we've stopped shipments to P.O. boxes and rural route addresses. Paper bill deliveries may also be delayed.
Here's what you need to know:
Shipping of new orders
As of May 12, 2025, all orders will ship via an alternate courier (such as UPS or Purolator) with some exceptions, including P.O. boxes and rural route addresses. You can track your phone, accessory and connected device orders
: Some locations require Canada Post for last-mile delivery.
Important
: To avoid your shipment being held until the labour disruption is over, do not use a PO Box or a Rural Route address. Please use an alternate address.
Potential delays in order deliveries for TELUS Business customers
We do not expect to have order delays. However, we cannot deliver to PO boxes or rural route addresses. You can track the status of your phone, accessory and connected device orders
Customer will receive a Purolator email within 24 to 48 business hours, which will have the customer's waybill that they will need to use at a Purolator location. The waybill will expire after 10 days. The Purolator email contains both a printable waybill and a QR code.
Note
: A Purolator clerk can print the waybill for the customer. A printer is not required.
