Dexter Tomczak, PhD
Dr. Dexter is an expert in End Point Management, Applied Research, and Economic Modeling, with a robust academic background and practical experience in the field of animal science. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Business Minor from the University of Wyoming in 2013, followed by a Master of Science in Animal Science from the University of Missouri in 2015. He further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Ph.D. in Animal Science from West Texas A&M University in 2019.
Dr. Dexter joined TELUS Agriculture, formerly known as Feedlot Health Management Services, in July 2021 as a Feedlot Production Consultant. Prior to this role, he gained valuable industry experience working at a feedyard in Northern Colorado and as a Data Analyst for a cattle feeder in the Texas Panhandle. His diverse background in both practical feedlot operations and data analysis equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, enabling him to provide insightful and effective consultation services.
Dr. Dexter's commitment to integrating applied research and economic modeling into feedlot production makes him a valuable asset to the organization. His expertise helps drive advancements in animal health and production efficiency, benefiting both the organization and its clients.
