As part of our People & Culture team, you’ll help deliver the best business decisions, enabling consistent and strong results for our business. The Sr. P&C Advisor at TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods serves a pivotal function on our journey to become one global team providing subject matter expertise to the P&C Team. Reporting to the Manager, this role works in close partnership with the P&C Business Partners and P&C stakeholders to effectively deliver all aspects of the People Plan and provide P&C guidance for their local geographical jurisdiction.
Here’s how:
- Partnering with the P&C Manager and Business Partner to ensure that optimal people solutions are implemented to solve business challenges.
- Support M&A transactions, including divestitures and coordinates integration of Centre of Expertise (CoE) content and resources.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and influence in gathering and assessing all relevant data and information for decisions, next steps or action plan, assessing options and providing recommendations.
- Program manage and provide leadership on core people initiatives.
- Work with key stakeholders including P&C Business Partners, P&C Operations, and Legal to ensure people practices follow local federal, provincial and state employment law.
- Provide support across multiple P&C practices including performance development, compensation, learning and development, career development and recognition.
What you bring to this role:
- Solid experience in a P&C advisory role.
- Experience in delivering P&C initiatives and programs, ideally cost efficiency and training.
- Adaptable with ability to work in a multifaceted global business.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, strong reporting skills with ability to develop actionable insights.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills, collaborate, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge & awareness of HR COE programs and services - Intermediate to Advanced
- Persuasion, influencing & conflict management.
- Project management; manage multiple projects/priorities.
The US base salary range for this position is: $81,000 - $121,000 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within that range, individual pay is determined by work location and a variety of factors, which may include but not limited, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
