Deb Johnson, BSc, MSc, DVM
Dr. Johnson is a seasoned professional specializing in Animal Health Management and Pathology. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 2012. Her educational background has provided her with a solid foundation in veterinary medicine and pathology.
Before graduating, Dr. Johnson worked as a government biologist, where she managed wildlife populations in relation to game harvest and industrial development. In this role, she conducted population and spatial land use research on boreal and barren-ground caribou, gaining valuable experience in wildlife management and ecological research. Additionally, while attending WCVM, Dr. Johnson worked in the anatomical pathology lab for Prairie Diagnostic Services, further honing her skills in pathology.
Dr. Johnson's diverse background in both wildlife biology and veterinary pathology equips her with a unique perspective and expertise in animal health management. Her comprehensive experience makes her a valuable asset to any organization focused on advancing animal health and welfare.
