Denise Pickett

Denise Pickett is President, Global Services Group of American Express, a role she has held since 2019. In 2021, she took on additional responsibility for consumer travel and lifestyle services. Denise has been with American Express since 1992 and has held various senior roles within the company. She served as the Country Manager for American Express Canada and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Amex Bank of Canada, and subsequently held positions as the President of American Express OPEN, the small business division, President of U.S. Consumer Services, and Chief Risk Officer for American Express.

Denise serves on the board of directors of the United Way of New York City. Her expertise and influence in the payments industry have been recognized, as she has been named one of the Most Influential Women in Payments by Payment Source.

Denise holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Toronto.
