When Wi-Fi calling is on, your device can make and receive calls via Wi-Fi networks. Your device will choose to make calls via Wi-Fi or over a cellular network based on which signal is stronger at the time.

Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
You can use Wi-Fi Calling on Apple Watch, even if your iPhone isn't on the same Wi-Fi network or turned on. Enabling Wi-Fi calling on your watch may take up to 60 seconds each time you reconnect to the network.
  1. 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. 2 - Scroll to Phone.
  3. 3 - Tap Phone.
  4. 4 - Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  5. 5 - Tap or slide the Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone slider to the on position.
  6. 6 - Tap Enable.
    • Remarque : If necessary, confirm or update your emergency address information.
  7. 7 - Tap Phone.
  8. 8 - Tap Calls on Other Devices.
  9. 9 - Tap or slide the Allow Calls on Other Devices slider to the on position.
    • Remarque : If your iPhone has previously connected to a Wi-Fi network, your Apple Watch will automatically connect and enable. If a cellular plan has been added, the option to control Wi-Fi calling may not be visible within the Watch app, but will still work.
  10. 10 - You've completed the steps!
