MAC or IP address filtering allows you to either allow or block certain users and/or ports from accessing the Internet.

MAC or IP address filtering allows you to either allow or block certain users and/or ports from accessing the Internet.

Current Step: 1 - From the Web User Interface main screen, scroll to Advanced Settings.
  1. 1 - From the Web User Interface main screen, scroll to Advanced Settings.
  2. 2 - Click Advanced Settings.
  3. 3 - Click Firewall.
  4. 4 - Click Port filtering.
  5. 5 - Click Enable.
  6. 6 - Click Apply.
  7. 7 - Click on the MAC Address field.
    • Remarque : Here you can designate a specific MAC address to filter.
  8. 8 - Click on the Source IP Address field.
    • Remarque : Here you can designate a specific external IP address to filter.
  9. 9 - Enter in the source IP address for the filter.
  10. 10 - Click on the Desti. IP Address field.
    • Remarque : Here you can designate a specific internal IP address to filter.
  11. 11 - Enter in the destination IP address for the filter.
  12. 12 - Scroll to Protocol.
  13. 13 - Click on the Protocol dropdown.
  14. 14 - Choose your desired protocol to filter.
  15. 15 - Pick whether to accept or drop packets.
    • Remarque : You could also set the filter to block packets to or from a device.
  16. 16 - Click on the Comment field.
  17. 17 - Enter a comment.
  18. 18 - Click Apply.
  19. 19 - You've completed the steps!
