Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
To access Wi-Fi, devices need to use a media access control (MAC) address. If the device keeps the same MAC address across all the Wi-Fi networks that it uses, the user can be tracked based on which Wi-Fi networks they access. Using Private Address will randomize your device's MAC address to make it harder for your device to be tracked.
  1. 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. 2 - Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. 3 - Tap the info icon beside the Wi-Fi network you would like to edit.
  4. 4 - Tap or slide the Private Address switch to ON.
    • Remarque : Using a Private Address will randomize your MAC address when connected to a Wi-Fi network. This will help reduce tracking of your device across different Wi-Fi networks.
  5. 5 - Tap Rejoin.
  6. 6 - You've completed the steps!
