Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  1. 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. 2 - Scroll to Touch ID & Passcode.
  3. 3 - Tap Touch ID & Passcode.
    • Remarque : If necessary, enter your passcode. You're required to set up a passcode in order to use Touch ID.
  4. 4 - Tap Add a Fingerprint.
    • Remarque : For this tutorial, we're showing how to set up Touch ID. You can also set up your phone to unlock only using a passcode, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
  5. 5 - Place your finger on the Home button.
  6. 6 - Repeatedly lift and rest your finger on the Home button.
  7. 7 - Tap Continue.
  8. 8 - Repeatedly lift and rest the edge of your finger on the Home button.
  9. 9 - Tap Continue.
    • Remarque : If necessary, enter and confirm a passcode to use when Touch ID is not available.
  10. 10 - Press the Side button to put iPhone to sleep.
  11. 11 - Press the Side button to wake iPhone.
    • Remarque : You must be looking at iPhone to activate Touch ID.
  12. 12 - Place your fingertip on the Home button to unlock iPhone.
  13. 13 - You've completed the steps!
