Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, tap Settings.

  2. 2 - Tap General.
  3. 3 - Tap Accounts.
  4. 4 - Tap Add account.
  5. 5 - Tap Email.
  6. 6 - Tap Other.
  7. 7 - Enter your email address.
  8. 8 - Tap the Password field.
  9. 9 - Enter your password.
  10. 10 - Tap MANUAL SETUP.
  11. 11 - Tap IMAP4.
  12. 12 - Tap NEXT.
    • Note: Some fields may populate automatically during setup.
  13. 13 - Enter "imap.telus.net".
  14. 14 - Tap the SECURITY TYPE dropdown.
  15. 15 - Tap SSL (Accept all certificates).
    • Note: Your TELUS.net account accepts SSL and TLS security types.
  16. 16 - Scroll to the PORT NUMBER field.
  17. 17 - Tap the PORT NUMBER field.
  18. 18 - Enter "993".
  19. 19 - Tap NEXT.
    • Note: Before proceeding to the next screen you may need to check to make sure your username matches your email address for this account type.
  20. 20 - Enter "smtp.telus.net".
  21. 21 - Tap the SECURITY TYPE dropdown.
  22. 22 - Tap SSL (Accept all certificates).
    • Note: Your TELUS.net account accepts SSL and TLS security types.
  23. 23 - Scroll to the PORT NUMBER field.
  24. 24 - Tap the PORT NUMBER field.
  25. 25 - Enter "465".
  26. 26 - Tap NEXT.
  27. 27 - Tap NEXT again.
  28. 28 - Tap DONE.
  29. 29 - You've completed the steps!
