A catalyst and connector, Rachel brings future-forward thinking to drive innovation at the intersection of healthcare and social impact. Prior to joining TELUS, Rachel served as Senior Manager of Digital and Commercial Innovation at AstraZeneca. Leading the Health Innovation Hub in Beijing, she spearheaded innovation scouting and acceleration as part of the renowned AstraZeneca A. Catalyst Network. She has also worked at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Canada and Ernst & Young. In addition, Rachel has also made significant contributions to social entrepreneurship in emerging economies, consulting with local startups in Kenya, Tanzania and India on strategic initiatives such as sales growth, market expansion‌ and capital raising.
