Depending your device’s cellular capabilities, and what your carrier or cellular plan offers, your device can prioritize using 5G, LTE, or other networks. This is helpful if you want to maximize your speeds, ensure a consistent connection to a particular network, or reduce your overall data usage.

  1. Note: Simultaneous voice and LTE data is available when using VoLTE. If your carrier, device, or network don't support VoLTE, you might use a reduced speed connection for data during voice calls. Contact your carrier for more information about your voice and data options.
