Information on adding new devices to your SmartHome Security system

If you would like additional sensors, cameras or automation devices added to your SmartHome Security system, browse our available SmartHome products and call one of our experts at 1-855-255-8828.

Your device may be eligible for self-installation with direct shipment to your home free of charge.

Depending on your current plan and the equipment you’d like to add, a plan upgrade may be required. For example, if you are on the Secure plan but would like to add a camera, an upgrade to Protect would be required. If you are on Secure or Protect but would like to add a home automation device such as a smart door lock or smart thermostat, an upgrade to Control would be required.

You may also be interested in one of our compatible devices that can be purchased online or at a retailer near you.

Note: Plan requirements remain the same for non-TELUS equipment.
