TELUS Wise workshops and resources are all available completely free of charge.

We can accommodate groups of various sizes but typically request a minimum of 20 attendees. We also have experience hosting workshops for larger student groups in a gymnasium/school assembly setting.
TELUS Wise workshops are facilitated by TELUS Wise Ambassadors, primarily made up TELUS employees, retirees and School Resource Officers. TELUS Wise ambassadors complete program training and orientation, as well as a police check before volunteering.
It is preferred that workshop requests are received at least one month in advance of your anticipated workshop date and every effort will be made to arrange for an Ambassador volunteer to deliver your workshop.
In-person workshop availability varies by region. In the event that we are unable to confirm a volunteer TELUS Wise Ambassador in your area to facilitate a workshop, we are happy to discuss other ways we can support your request for digital citizenship education, including hosting a virtual workshop or training a member of your community group to facilitate the workshop.

As a leading provider of smartphones and Internet services, we believe it is our responsibility to educate Canadians on how to stay safe online. Our workshops are completely product and vendor agnostic and do not reference or promote TELUS products and services.

No. TELUS Wise workshops are designed for individuals who are already active online. The workshop content focuses on protecting your online security, privacy, and reputation, rising above cyberbullying, and using technology responsibly.
If you have specific questions about the features of your device you can book a personalized 1:1 session at a TELUS Learning Centre. Our TELUS Learning Centre representatives can show you everything you need to know to get the most out of your device and services.
We are so fortunate to be asked to participate in various conferences, community events, campaigns and initiatives each year. In order to thoroughly assess and respond to individuals and organizations interested in partnering with TELUS, we have established a process where we review these applications four times per year.
