Tanmay leads investments in agriculture, food, consumer goods and supply chain tech for TELUS Ventures. He is enthusiastic about global food systems, their challenges and opportunities therein. He applies his experience in production and supply chain technologies to source, invest in and support companies that are transforming the agri-food ecosystem for a better, sustainable future.
Tanmay has donned hats of an investor and a startup executive. Previously, he was an early employee and member of the senior leadership at Intello Labs, an agtech SaaS startup disrupting post-harvest quality and grading in the fresh produce industry. At Intello, he initiated operations in the Asia Pacific region and led its expansion for over three years. Prior to that, he was a part of the investment team at a NY-based fund, raising and deploying capital in promising growth companies located in underinvested areas of the United States.
Outside work, he likes to read physics and natural philosophy or practice archery. He loves to do geeky activities with his eight year old daughter. Tanmay holds an MBA with honors from NYU's Stern School of Business and is also an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay
