Ohad Arazi

Entrepreneur in Residence

Ohad is the first Entrepreneur in Residence at TELUS Ventures, with a mandate to identify, validate and pursue opportunities that will drive innovation for TELUS and lead to the creation of new business opportunities. He is especially passionate about developing and supporting solutions that bridge healthcare and transformation technologies, believing strongly that technology can play a tremendous role in transforming outcomes, decreasing cost and enhancing collaboration. Ohad will have a particular focus on early and growth stage deals originating from Israel. 

Ohad has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, public company executive and CEO in the digital health, medical device and telecommunications spaces. He most recently served as CEO for Zebra Medical Vision, an imaging AI company from Israel backed by Khosla Ventures, Intermountain, Marc Benioff and strategic investors such as TELUS Ventures.  Prior to his time at Zebra Med, Ohad served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for TELUS Health and led the Provider Solutions Business Unit. He led the organization as it expanded to deliver Electronic Medical Record systems to 28,000 primary care physicians in Canada and launched Canada’s first electronic prescribing network.  

Before joining TELUS in 2017, Ohad served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Change Healthcare and McKesson’s cardiology business, a top three global market leader in medical imaging software. As part of an 11-year tenure with McKesson, he also served as Vice President of Product Management for Medical Imaging and held other senior leadership roles within the organization. 

Based in Vancouver, Ohad loves to spend his free time kayaking and skiing with his family and travelling the world - he’s visited 51 countries and counting!

Ohad holds a law degree from Tel Aviv University and completed the Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
