Drive+Manually resetting your OBD-II device

A factory reset will erase all data from your device and is irreversible. This is good to do if you are going to trade in or sell your device. It will wipe all of your personal information from the device.

Current Step: 1 - Locate the Device reset hole on the left side of your OBD-II device.
If your device is having connectivity issues or you'd like to reconfigure it for a new vehicle, resetting it may help.
  1. 1 - Locate the Device reset hole on the left side of your OBD-II device.
  2. 2 - Press the card insertion/removal tool into the Device reset hole.
    • Note: Your device will need to be connected to a power source or have sufficient charge in it's internal battery to complete this function.
  3. 3 - You've completed the steps!
