Rebooting your device in safe mode starts up your device using only the original software installed on it. Safe mode can help you find out if problematic applications are impacting the performance of your device.
  1. 1 - If your device is already powered on, press and hold the Power button.
  2. 2 - Touch and hold Power off.
  3. 3 - Tap OK.
    • Note: Once your device has restarted, it will show "Safe mode" on the screen.

  5. 5 - Once the Google logo shows, press and hold the Volume down button until your device is done starting up.
