Adding a personal email account

Set up your personal email account on your device so that you can access your email messages, send new emails and more. You can have mutliple email accounts on your device.

From the Home screen, tap Settings.

Scroll to Mail.

Tap Mail.

Tap Accounts.

Tap Add Account.

Select your account type.

Tap Add Mail Account.

Tap the Name field.

Enter your name.

Tap the return key.

Enter your email address.
Note: In this tutorial, we're entering a Mail.com account. However, you should enter whichever email provider you use. The steps are essentially the same, but you may encounter minor variations based on the chosen email provider.

Tap the return key.
Step 12/24 - 13.
Enter your password.
Step 13/24 - 14.
Tap Next.

Tap POP.

Tap the Host Name field for INCOMING MAIL SERVER.

Enter your incoming mail server host name.
Note: You may need to contact your IT professional to obtain this information.

Tap the return key.

Enter your username.

Enter your outgoing mail server host name.
