Note: Don't touch the gold contacts on your SIM card. That could damage the card. If you’re using a new SIM card, you can activate it by contacting your carrier.
With your device turned off, remove the phone's back cover by lifting from the finger notch.Step 1/6
Remove the battery using the finger notch.
Note: You must have a nano SIM card inserted in your phone to place calls, access the internet, download apps and share pictures over your carrier's network.Step 2/6
Slide the nano SIM card in or out of the slot with the gold contacts facing the front of the phone.
Note: A nano SIM card may already be inserted in your phone.Step 3/6
Replace the battery, matching the contacts on the battery with the contacts in the battery slot.Step 4/6
Replace the back cover, pressing on each corner to make sure it's secure.Step 5/6
