Turning on purchase authentication in Google Play

Learn how to enable purchase authentication to protect your account from fraudulent purchases.

    Tap the Account Icon.

    The indicator is in the top right.

    Tap Settings.

    The indicator is towards the bottom.

    Tap Authentication.

    The indicator is in the center.
  4. Step 4/6

    Tap Require authentication for purchases.

    Select your preferred settings.

    Note: May need to enter your password to finalize the changes.
