Find out why your first Mobility bill is higher than usual

Your first TELUS bill will be somewhat different from future TELUS bills. The extra charges listed below result in a first invoice that could be higher than what you may expect.

One-time charges: Your first invoice may include some 'one-time' charges such as a connection fee or custom phone number change fee. The connection fee includes a SIM card and access to a TELUS team member to process your activation or renewal along with other exclusive TELUS services.

Billing in advance: We bill your rate plan one month in advance. On your first bill, this amount is added to a partial cost from your date of activation to your billing date.

Additional usage: If you use services which are not included in your rate plan or add-ons, you will see additional charges as well. This could include additional minutes, long distance, roaming charges, text messages, or data usage.
