Why you might have additional charges despite having a long distance plan

If you have subscribed to a long distance savings plan but you're being billed additional long distance charges, try the following.

Check your long distance plan

Your current long distance plan may not be ideal for your needs. You'll see additional long distance charges on your bill if you have:

  1. Surpassed the amount of allotted long distance minutes included with your plan
  2. Made calls to locations not included with your current long distance plan

View our available long distance plans to find a plan better suited to your needs and avoid additional long distance charges.

Change your long distance plan

You can change your current long distance plan by doing one of the following:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Chatting with a TELUS agent
  3. Calling or emailing us
