About the TELUS Connect app
The TELUS Connect app is a tool included in your TELUS Internet subscription to help you take control of your home Wi-Fi.
With the TELUS Connect app you will be able to easily change your Wi-Fi network password, create a network for your guests, see who’s connected to your network and more!
Note: At this time, the TELUS Connect app is not available to Business accounts or to select customers who subscribe to our Rural Internet plans.
How to download the TELUS Connect app
To download the app on your smartphone, simply visit Google Play (if you have an Android phone) or the App Store (if you have an iPhone).
Logging into the TELUS Connect app
To log into the TELUS Connect app you will need your My TELUS account credentials. If you don’t have a My TELUS account, you can register online in a couple of minutes at myaccount.telus.com using the account number included in your order notification email or in your bill statement.
If you do not log in, you will not be able to take advantage of all the features available to you.
Note: If you also have a Mobility account with TELUS, please ensure that you log in with your Home Internet account number to enjoy the features of the TELUS Connect app.
Using the TELUS Connect app to self-install TELUS equipment
The TELUS Connect app can help with more than managing your home Wi-Fi network. It will also help walk you through step-by-step instructions on how to self-install TELUS equipment, like your modem, Boost Wi-Fi or your TV digital boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change my password?
- To change your Wi-Fi password, log into the app, go to the Wi-Fi tab, and you will see your network name and password listed there. You can change either of them from here.
How do I identify a device?
- In the app, navigate to the Devices tab. From here, you will be able to see all devices that have recently been connected to your home network.
Why can’t I see the Parental Control features?
- Not all features are enabled for all of the modems/gateways. To learn more about the features available to you, please select your modem from the section above.
Why can’t I see the Network Security feature?
- This feature is only available to customers who have subscribed to TELUS Online Security and to TELUS Internet.
