Tips on device changes or SIM swaps along with installation instructions

Norton Security Online protects your devices – and everyone in your household – from spam, malicious websites, and other online threats.

To download and install Norton Security Online visit Norton Security Online and select a plan.

You may be asked to log in to your TELUS account to order. Once you are identified as a TELUS customer, select the download button.

Changing devices or swapping SIMs

PC (Windows & Mac)

Simply re-download Norton Security Online.

MOBILE

Android

Google sync will automatically download Norton Mobile Security Lite on your new device.

To get TELUS-Norton Mobile Security app:

    • Agree to EULA
    • Choose “I have a Partner Code”
    • Enter “Telus”
    • Sign in using your TELUS My Account credentials
iPhone

iCloud sync will download Norton Mobile Security – Lost Phone Finder on your new device.

To get TELUS-Norton Mobile Security app:

  • Uninstall Norton Mobile Security – Lost Phone Finder
  • Download Norton Mobile Security
  • Follow these steps:
    • Agree to EULA
    • Choose “I have a Partner Code”
    • Enter “Telus”
    • Sign in using your TELUS My Account credentials

Norton SIM Lock (Norton Mobile Security feature)

The SIM card “lock" feature is a setting that is not on by default. If you do turn it on, (in Norton Mobile Security, not on the portal) it works like this:

  • Norton Mobile Security detects if the SIM card is removed
  • If SIM card is removed, Norton Mobile Security locks the device the same as if you remotely locked it
  • Once it’s locked, you typically have to remotely unlock it or type in the unlock code on the device
  • The unlock code can be found in your Norton Mobile Security portal. Just sign into your TELUS account

To install

Download, install and run the Norton Security Online app on your supported devices

Note to iOS users: After downloading the Norton Mobile Security app, select ‘I have a partner code’ and enter ‘Telus’ before logging in using you TELUS credentials.

Note to Android users: If you are downloading Norton Mobile Security directly from the Android store, select ‘I have a partner code’ and enter ‘Telus’ before logging in using your TELUS credentials.

Downloading security directly from Android or App Store?

You can find your Norton Security Online PIN after logging in at Norton Security Online.

If you exceed the maximum number of allowable installations

Check whether you have your Norton product installed on any unused device. If your Norton product is installed on a device that you no longer use, you will be redirected to Norton page where you can simply reclaim the Norton product license from that device.
