Welcome to TELUS Sky

Jul 6, 2022

We’ve reached a major milestone today and are thrilled to celebrate the opening of TELUS Sky in Calgary.

TELUS Sky is our signature development in the heart of Calgary and the new corporate home for our local team members. Designed by world-leading architect Bjarke Ingels, it was designed to exemplify our commitment to creating healthier and stronger communities, and built to Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design (LEED)-Platinum standards. We’re proud to share that it’s one of the most technologically advanced and environmentally-friendly buildings in North America.

TELUS Sky - leading edge, contemporary and green

Exceeding global standards for leadership in energy and environmental design, TELUS Sky is a stunning place to be. TELUS floors centre around the living wall atrium, providing a healthy and inspired work space for our team members and reminding us of our collective commitment to make our planet healthier. Featuring both a sophisticated rainwater capture system and a lighting automation system, Sky reduces our reliance on the municipal water system and the Alberta energy grid.

On the exterior of the building, TELUS Sky features Calgary’s largest public art piece, Northern Lights by Doug Coupland, and inside, Canadian and Indigenous art brings the story of TELUS Sky to life through themes of innovation, light, colour, nature and connectivity. But it’s certainly not form over function - team members also have access to a 200 person Flex Room, Teaming Kitchen, Café Fresh and an Immersive 18 person Telepresence Meeting Room.

Fun fact: with the completion of TELUS Sky, we now occupy the largest LEED Platinum footprint in North America.
