Install Norton Mobile Security


  1. Find your Norton download link:
  • If you have received an email from TELUS, click on the green Access Norton button in the email.
  • If you are going through your TELUS Québec Espace client, go to the Internet menu in the left pane, then click the green Install button under the Norton Security Online tab. Depending on your browser, the Internet menu may be under My services.

Note: The Norton website interface will open in English or French, depending on your browser language settings.

  1. On the web page that opens on the Norton website, you have to log in to your Norton account, or create a new account if you do not already have one. To create an account, go to the Create an account tab and follow the on-screen prompts.

  2. Once logged in to you Norton account, you may be asked for your PIN. If you are asked and your PIN does not already appear in the box, enter it manually and then click the yellow arrow to the right of your PIN to connect this licence code with your Norton account. If you are not asked for a PIN, you can just click on Download Norton Security Online from App Store to download the Norton Mobile Security app. You may be asked to confirm the download, which will open the App Store so you can download the Norton Mobile Security app on your Apple device.

Note: The Norton website interface will open in English or French, depending on your browser language settings.

  1. Once you’ve opened the App Store, click Get for the Norton Mobile Security app. The free app will then be downloaded and installed on your device.

Notes:

  • You need an Apple account to download the mobile app from the App Store. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one.
  • You may be asked for a password or for personal information to proceed with the download. Follow the instructions displayed on-screen on your Apple device.
  • If you’re asked for a PIN or a Partner ID at any point during installation, you can find this information in the email you received from TELUS, or in the Espace client menu mentioned in Step 1. In the same menu on your Espace client, you can see your PIN in the licence details under the green Démarrer l’installation button. The PIN is a combination of 13 characters, and the partner ID is telusnsoquebec.
  1. Once the app is installed on your Apple device, you can open it using the on-screen menu in the App Store. Just select Open.

Note: You can also launch the app from the welcome screen on your device or through the app menu. The name of the installed app is Security.

  1. Once the Norton app is open on screen :
  • You need to check off both boxes to accept the product’s terms of use before you can select Continue.
  • You then have to select Sign In to move to the next menu.
  • You will be asked for your Norton account login information, after which you can select “Sign In” to continue.
  • You will then have to agree to let the Norton app send you notifications on your device by selecting Allow.
  • Your device is now protected.

Notes:

  • If you want to disconnect your Norton account from your Apple device, you will have to do so through your account’s web portal on the Norton site.
  • If you are already using your Norton licence with the maximum two devices and wish to add more devices, you can increase the number up to 5, free of charge, in your Espace client on the TELUS Québec website.
  • This option is in the Internet menu in the left pane of your Espace client, under the Norton Security Online tab. This is also where you will find your PIN.
  • Depending on your browser, the Internet menu may be under My services, also in the left pane.
