How it works
Step 1
Book a MedsCheck appointment through the
TELUS Health Virtual Pharmacy app
or website
. An appointment usually lasts 20-30 minutes to provide ample time for you and the pharmacist to discuss your complete medication profile.
Step 2
At the time of your MedsCheck appointment, have available your prescription containers, including any over-the-counter medications, vitamins, herbal remedies or other natural health products. The pharmacist will ask about how you are taking your medications, your health conditions and other relevant details to see if there are any medication-related problems.
Step 3
The pharmacist will document any concerns related to your medications and work with you to resolve them. After your MedsCheck, your pharmacist will provide you with an up-to-date medication list, provide advice and information on getting the most benefit from your medications, and share a copy with your doctor.
