What are Iron Infusions and Speciality Medical Infusions?

Our comprehensive infusion services offer rapid, effective treatment for multiple health needs. For those with iron deficiency, whether from pregnancy, chronic conditions, or other medical issues, our Iron Infusions can restore vital iron levels when oral supplements aren't enough. Additionally, we offer specialty infusions - including biologics, bisphosphonates and steroids.

How it works

First appointments, including the infusion, take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the infusion, nutrients slowly drip from an IV line and enter your bloodstream. You can sit back and relax until the treatment is completed. Our caring team prioritizes your comfort and safety throughout.

For patients

Download and print a referral form to take to your healthcare provider. Once completed, fax it to 604-608-3447. Once the form is received, you will be contacted to schedule your Iron Infusion appointment.

Other medical infusions

TELUS Health also administers biologics, bisphosphonates, steroids and other medical infusions. Each infusion is run by ER Registered Nurses and overseen by an ER Physician. All clinical staff have active Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and are trained to work with your referring physician, midwife or specialist to administer the correct medical IV Infusion Therapy to address your health challenge.
